This new school in the Newhall School District in northern LA County has existing mature oak trees on campus that needed to be preserved and protected. The design included some native plantings and additional oak trees to reinforce the natural history of the area and to potentially educate and familiarize the students of their surrounding environment. This project completion date is sometime in 2003.
