Santa Fe Apartments

An old courtyard existed in this apartment building near the east end of the downtown area that was created in the early 80’s with at that time a cutting edge idea of a large stand alone building that enclosed a handball court taking up nearly half the available space. Times change and so do people’s tastes and the building fell into nonuse so the owners of the building decided to tear it down and open up the space to an outdoor courtyard feel with a new spa and remodeled gardens. This garden was completed in early 2003 and looks like it maturing nicely.
